Abstract: 

This paper proposes the efficient VLSI architecture of camera DISTORTION CORRECTION, based on a Neural Camera DISTORTION Model (NCDM). Conventional imaging methods use over two kinds of models to correct the camera and lens DISTORTIONs, but the NCDM uses a single model to immediately correct the geometry DISTORTION and unsymmetrical manufacturing errors. The NCDM, with four neurons, performs a wide-angle DISTORTION CORRECTION. The results show that the maximal corrected error in a whole image is less than 1.1705 pixels, and the MSE approaches 0.1743 between corrected and ideal results. The DISTORTION CORRECTION by NCDM is 429more accurate than the conventional approach. The chip size of NCDM is 1: 51×1: 51 mm2 and contains 126 K gates using the TSMC 90 nm CMOS technology process. Working at 240 Mhz, this architecture can correct 30 frames and a Full-HD resolution video per second. Results show that the maximal corrected error in a whole image is less than 1.4 pixels, and the mean square error approaches 0.0376 between corrected and ideal results.

Abstract: 

In this paper, a new single-stage power factor CORRECTION (PFC) converter is presented. In the input stage of this structure, a buck converter is used to correct the power factor. So, the voltage stress of bulk capacitor reduced, and one of the main problems in the single stage PFC converters is solved. Moreover, by employing a compensator circuit, the input current dead angle which is the main drawback of the existing buck type PFCs is obviated, thus the total harmonic DISTORTION is very low. In converters with buck PFC, input current dead angle results in high THD. In the proposed converter, using an inductor coupled with the main transformer, this problem is solved. A part of input power is transmitted directly to the output that helps to improve efficiency. The proposed converter is analyzed and the validity of the proposed solution is proven in the form of theoretical analysis, simulation and practical results.

Abstract: 

According to many researchers, there are no poets like Khaghani and Nezami whose poetry has been distorted and changed. The reasons for this matter are extensive attention of people to their poetry -especially Nezami’s- and the difficulty of their poetry. In some cases, facing with exotic and complex compounds, the script-writers replaced such compounds with more familiar ones that they themselves knew their meaning. For this reason, there are a number of compounds in the poems of past writers whose meanings cannot be explained by commentators and lexicographers, This article tries to propose a CORRECTION of a similar DISTORTION in three lines of Nezami’s Khamse which is prevalent in Nezami’s poetry and even Khghani’s Divan. It also comments on some lines of Nezami’s Khamse which are, somehow, related to Toranj and Naranj.

Abstract: 

The hadith ‛Alī Ma‛a al-Ḥaqq in the encyclopedic work ‛Abqāt al-Anwār belongs to an unfinished manuscript section that has only recently become available to researchers. This section consists of unorganized notes and scattered records, primarily transcribed by scribes unfamiliar with the terminology, resulting in a disordered and error-ridden text. Recently, a portion of these records, which exhibit better coherence, was selected by an institution in Qom and published under the grand title of "CORRECTION, Research, and Commentary," being praised as "an exceptional scientific study." However, an examination of this work reveals that the printed text is not only selectively edited but also suffers from DISTORTIONs, transcription errors, and irregularities in the reading of the manuscript. The principle of scholarly fidelity in presenting the text has been severely compromised. Additionally, negligence in collation and editing, typographical mistakes, and a rushed publication process have undermined the integrity of this distinguished work, rendering its content unreliable. A critical review of this flawed and error-laden edition calls into question the credibility of the printed version and highlights the urgent need for a more rigorous scholarly edition.

Abstract: 

In this study, two lines from Marzban-nameh have been analyzed. Allameh Mohammad Ghazvini has put a question mark in front of these two lines and has been doubtful in recording some words and their meanings. Khatib Rahbar considers the two lines as meaningless, and Mohammad Roshan, by changing a word from these lines, has made the text more complex and does not speak of the exact meaning of the words. What has complicated the intended lines is the DISTORTION and conversion of a word in these sentences that has misled the interpreters and editors of Marzban-nameh. Based on the CORRECTION of a word from these lines, this study attempted to explain and analyze some ambiguous sentences from Marzban-nameh.

Abstract: 

The authors of this paper attempt to answer this research question: how ideological priorities dominated in the Iranian media, using framing economic news, result in cultural DISTORTION. To theoretical review, we have used a combination of Eaglton’s concept concerning Ideology. and Entman’s framing definition. To answer the research question, we have done a qualitative content analysis. The data needed for this analysis gathered from the mentioned news agencies from first day of Ordibehesht 1402 to 25th of Khordad. In research findings we have suggested four main themes including positive events in the area of internal economy, positive events in the area of International relations benefiting Iran, negative events in the area of internal economy, and negative events in economy of foreign countries. Based on our research findings, we can say, the dominated ideological concerns in Iran, applying economic news framing facilitate and ease cultural DISTORTION. We conclude, economic news in the ISNA and Fars news agencies, are framed in a way that influence and sway the audience perception and opinion. Furthermore, the prevailing ideology, with the help of news selection, manage and sort and pick out only those set of news that support their own ideological views, putting aside or ignoring those items of information that contradict or challenge the prevailing views and interpretations.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Image DISTORTION is one of the major problems in panoramic radiography. Horizontal and vertical CORRECTION factors could be determined for more efficient clinical applications. The purpose of this study was to determine horizontal and vertical CORRECTION factors in panoramic radiography.Materials and Methods: In this test evaluation study in which an asymetric mandibular phantom was constructed by plexiglass and aluminium as soft and hard tissue equivalents. The right half was slightly shorter than the left half. Steel makers were installed to make vertical and horizontal measurments possible.The length of the markers as well as the intermarker distances were measured by Mitutoyo digital micrometer which was accurate within ±0.05mm. The phantom was then positioned in PM 2002 cc proline (Planmeca, Finland) panoramic machine and panoramic images were obtained. 8 times for each half of the phan. The same length and inter marker distances were measured on digitized panoramic images by Cygnus software, which was accurate within ±0.01 mm. Magnification and CORRECTION factors were determined for the vertical and horizontal dimensions in each region of pantomograms.Results: The mean vertical CORRECTION factor was 0.77±0.02 (range: 0.75-0.80) in the right and 0.77±0.05 (range: 0.75-0.85) in the left half jaw. The mean horizontal CORRECTION factor was calculated as 0.98±0.15 (range: 0.76-1.18) in the right and 1.02±0.14 (range: 0.90-1.25) in the left half jaw.Conclusion: Dissimilarity of vertical and horizontal CORRECTION factors among left and right half jaws and also in different regions of a half jaw is relatively considerable. However, a constant CORRECTION factor, specialy in horizontal aspect, could not be applicable. Comparing with horizontal CORRECTION factors the vertical CORRECTION factors showed less variations between different regions as well as different samples.

Rashi-Aldine-Vatvat is one of the eminent poets, scholar of the Persian Literature. The author with the help of several written Copies of Poet's Divan and with Comparing and Contrasting it with the Comparing and Contrasting it with the Published Copy of Divan, Various distorted Copy of Divan, Various distorted verses have been Corrected. Therefore Some Corrected verses have been Corrected. Therefore Some Corrected Verses have been presented in this article.

Abstract: 

Introduction: SURGEOSIGHT is a dedicated intra-operative hand-held gamma camera designed and manufactured by our team to be used for lymphoscintigraphy. Although conventional gamma cameras are widely used, they lack the capability of the sentinel lymph node (SLN) imaging in the operation room. Like conventional gamma cameras it is necessary to calibrate SURGEOSIGHT for linearity DISTORTION, energy and flood CORRECTION. Our main objective in this study is to develop and implement three techniques for linearity, energy and uniformity CORRECTIONs.Methods: The camera is made up of a pixelated cesium iodide (sodium-activated) (CsI (Na)) scintillation crystal with 1 × 1 mm2 element size along with a Hamamatsu H8500 flat-panel multi-anode (64 channels) photomultiplier tube. All triple CORRECTIONs required lookup tables (LUTs). To generate all three LUTs, one uncalibrated acquisition is necessary. Linearity DISTORTION CORRECTION was based on localization of physical pixels of crystal and thin plate spline interpolation to estimate the amount of DISTORTION. Energy CORRECTION LUT was simply a photo-peak map of incoming events which was estimated using self-organizing map technique.Results: The results showed improvements qualitatively and quantitatively. The extrinsic energy resolution was enhanced from 50% to about 20.6%. Integral uniformity and the differential uniformity, after uniformity CORRECTION, in useful field-of-view (UFOV) was measured 9.5% and 4.5%, respectively.Conclusion: Results substantiated that the CORRECTION techniques guarantee uniform and accurate output of the SURGEOSIGHT which is desirable for intra-operative localization of the sentinel lymph nodes in breast cancer and also for imaging of other superficial tumors.
